Guidelines to use when requesting a lookup.
  • Be polite when requesting a lookup. We want to keep our volunteers.
  • Limit your request to one name per request.
  • Please be specific. Do not just ask for general information about a surname or event. Try to use date and place names in your request.
  • Put "Lookup" in the subject line of your request.
  • In the first line of the message list the name of the source from which you are requesting a lookup.
  • E-mail directly to the lookup volunteer.
